SEAW Refresher Course Committee Volunteers Wanted!

Are you a savvy reviewer or know the design codes and standards?

If yes, we want you! The SEAW Refresher Committee is seeking volunteers to assist in reviewing notes and presentation materials. The SEAW Refresher is an affordable review course that assists engineers preparing for the NCEES Structural Exam and practicing engineers that want to review principles of structural engineering. Come join the Refresher Course Committee and help us boost the quality of the program.

What is the Structural Engineers Foundation of Washington (SEFW)?

SEFW is the 501c3 charitable organization associated with SEAW. The SEFW mission is to promote the profession of structural engineering through scholarship, education, research, and outreach. SEFW fulfills this mission in many ways, including funding the SEAW Scholarship Program and other scholarship opportunities, funding the SEAW Outreach Committee and other community outreach events, facilitating educational events to introduce structural engineering to the general public, supporting research opportunities, and much more! To learn more about SEFW, please visit their website.

SEFW fulfills its mission with the assistance of donations from individuals and corporations. Corporations are invited to donate to SEFW as sponsors of the annual Fall Forum lecture series, while individuals are welcome to donate at any time using the PayPal link on the SEFW website. SEAW members specifically can make a line-item donation to SEFW as part of their dues renewal. Special designation can be placed on any donation, so it can be applied to scholarships, disaster preparedness, or the upcoming wind study.
