SEAW Membership Categories

We encourage membership application by anyone interested in pursuing the interests of the organization. Prospective members are welcome at our monthly meetings where they may sample the content and quality of our organization.

SEAW is made up of the following membership categories:

• MEMBER: Registered structural engineer in the state of Washington and regularly engaged in the practice of structural engineering at the time of application.

• Professional Associate: Registered professional engineer or architect licensed to practice in the state of Washington.

• Associate: Graduate of an approved engineering school or college with less than 10 years' combined education and experience.

• Affiliate: Individual engaged in a profession which cooperates with structural engineers in the advancement of professional knowledge, practice and welfare. Includes those licensed in states other than Washington or unlicensed with over 10 year's combined education/experience.
