Webcast Option
Webcast Live for other SEAW’s (Spokane, South Central & Southwest). Link to seminar will be sent after registration. Each individual participant must be registered to participate, get PDH’s and a link to the pdf of the seminar notes. Bound hardcopy of seminar notes will only be available for in-person attendees in Seattle.

Description

The SEAW Education Committee is hosting an all-day seminar on various foundation and shoring systems presented by a panel of engineers and contractors to learn about foundation and shoring design, including code requirements and the practical aspects of their installation. The main topics will be:

  • Excavation support systems
  • Sheet piling
  • Deep foundations (drilled shafts, driven piles)
  • Deep foundations (micropiles)
  • Mat foundations

The seminar will be held at the University of Washington in Kane Hall. There will also be a webcast live for other SEAW chapters (Spokane, South Central & Southwest). The link to the seminar will be sent after registration. Each individual participant must be registered in order to participate, receive corresponding PDH’s (7), and receive a link to the seminar notes pdf file.
