SEAW Disaster Preparedness & Response Committee

We are SEAW’s committee that is collaborating on WAsafe, Washington State’s post-disaster response program for volunteer engineers, architects, and building inspectors. We organize and teach WAsafe classes, based on the internationally recognized ATC-20 and ATC-45 post-disaster building safety assessment trainings. Qualified engineers, architects and building inspectors who complete the WAsafe class can join the WAsafe registry, which will be used to communicate with and dispatch volunteers following a disaster.
